Ads Uploader gets a folder of creatives live on Meta in minutes. Kitchn.io is for what happens around that upload. Every row is validated before launch; a row that fails never goes out. Approval statuses, naming templates and an audit log sit in the same flow. On eight channels.
Ads Uploader does one job on Meta and does it quickly. Drop a folder in, or import it from Google Drive. It groups aspect-ratio variations by filename suffix (_1x1, _9x16) and attaches thumbnails. The ad set structure comes from a model ad or a preset. It launches through the Meta API or exports an XLSX for Ads Manager's bulk import. Its Duplicator copies existing ads to new ad sets on the same post ID, so likes and comments carry over. A CLI and an MCP server let Claude Code or Cursor run the same steps. Solo Unlimited covers unlimited ad accounts and unlimited uploads for one user, and a Team plan adds central billing and seats. Its Meta Ads Size Guide and safe-zone overlay templates are worth keeping whatever you launch with.
Everything around the upload is left to you. The preview table shows names and structure, the CLI dry run validates the spec, and Test Mode creates nothing. There is no documented asset-spec check. There is no documented approval step for a client or a team lead. Change tracking rests on each user's own Facebook login; there is no documented audit log inside the tool. Naming is a pattern. Creative enhancement settings come over from the model ad by default. Its supported-formats page lists Single Image, Single Video, Carousel and Flexible, and warns against catalog-bound ad sets. Assets come from your desktop, Google Drive, a public URL, or a folder on disk through the CLI. On your own Meta accounts, none of that is missing. Launching for clients with a naming standard and a sign-off, each piece is.
Kitchn.io runs the whole launch, with the upload as one step in it. Every row is validated; a row that fails lands in error and never launches. The client reviews the real ad through a share link and the approval status sits on the row. The audit log has the name behind every change and approval, with before and after.
| Feature | Kitchn.io | Ads Uploader |
|---|---|---|
| Bulk ad creation & launch | YesHundreds of ads from the Launch Sheet | YesFolder drop, grouped by filename |
Ads Uploader groups a folder of files into ads and ad sets by filename suffix. It launches through the Meta API or exports an XLSX for Ads Manager. Kitchn.io builds ads in rows, pastes copy straight from Sheets, and creates ad sets from a template ad set and the ads in bulk. | ||
| Multi-channel launching | Yes8 channels, 3 in beta | NoMeta only |
Ads Uploader's product, docs, CLI and MCP server cover Meta (Facebook & Instagram). Kitchn.io launches the same sheet to eight channels, with the same templates and validation on each. | ||
| Pre-launch QA checks | YesRequired fields, URL format, specs, enhancements | PartialPreview table, Test Mode, dry run |
Ads Uploader shows a preview table of campaign, ad set and ad names, and a Test Mode that creates nothing. Its CLI dry run validates the spec for missing fields and bad references. There is no documented asset-spec check. Kitchn validates every row before launch. Required fields, URL format, platform specs, and Meta's creative enhancements forced off, 86 at last count. A row that fails lands in error and never launches. | ||
| Client & team approvals | YesStatuses, comments, previews | NoNo documented approval flow |
Ads Uploader's team accounts cover seats, an admin panel and billing. A saved build stays in the ad account it was created in. Kitchn.io puts approval statuses and comments on every row, and the client reviews the real ad preview through a share link, no login needed. | ||
| Naming conventions | YesApplied by template | Partial{filename}, {index}, {date} patterns |
Ads Uploader builds ad names from placeholders and transforms such as {split:_:2} and {titlecase:}. Kitchn.io applies a naming template to every row, per sheet and platform; overrides are explicit and logged. | ||
| Templates & sheet defaults | YesSet once per sheet | YesPresets and User Defaults |
Presets store campaign structure, ad set targeting, placements, optimization goals, creative enhancement settings and budget, copied from an existing ad or an XLSX. User Defaults hold separators, suffixes and placement routing. Kitchn.io's sheet defaults carry tracking and enhancement settings into every row; ad templates are applied in bulk or through auto-import. | ||
| Audit trail of changes | YesEvery change and approval | NoNo documented audit log |
Ads Uploader shows a real-time progress panel while a job runs, and its FAQ says separate Facebook logins let you track who made changes. There is no documented audit log inside Ads Uploader of changes or approvals. Kitchn's Audit & Change Log records both, with before and after. | ||
| Meta ad formats | Yes8 formats, incl. Catalog, PAC, Existing Post | PartialImage, video, carousel, flexible |
Ads Uploader supports Single Image, Single Video, Carousel and Flexible ads; carousel and flexible from an existing ad only. Its docs warn against catalog-bound ad sets. Kitchn.io adds Collection, Catalog Carousel, PAC Carousel and Existing Post. | ||
| Asset sources | YesDrive, Dropbox, Frame.io & OneDrive | PartialDesktop, Google Drive, URLs, local folders |
Ads Uploader imports from your desktop, from Google Drive files you own, and from public HTTPS or Drive links via CLI, MCP and API. The CLI also reads any folder mounted on disk. Kitchn.io pulls from Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io and OneDrive, and automatic import from Drive and Dropbox folders is available on request. | ||
| Duplicate running ads on the post ID | PartialExisting Post format | YesDuplicator, visual picker |
Ads Uploader's Duplicator picks existing ads from a campaign tree and copies them to an existing or new ad set, in the same ad account. The copy shares the original post ID, so likes, comments and shares carry over. Kitchn.io's Existing Post format runs a live post, Reel or Story as a new ad from the sheet; rule-based ad duplication is available on request. | ||
| CLI & MCP for AI agents | PartialAPI tokens for admins | YesCLI, MCP server with 24 tools |
Ads Uploader's CLI and MCP server let Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor upload, preview and create ads. Both are for paid accounts. Kitchn.io issues API tokens to admin users on every plan. | ||
| Public pricing | YesPlans listed, from €499/mo | Yes$44/mo on annual billing, unlimited |
Ads Uploader's Solo Unlimited plan is $528 a year, shown as $44 a month, or $59 billed monthly. Unlimited ad accounts and uploads, for one user. Kitchn.io's plans are on the pricing page, priced by ad accounts and Ad Uploads rather than per user. | ||
No plan gates channels. Launch Team and Launch Elite both launch to all eight, three of them still in beta.

Ads Uploader's Solo Unlimited plan is $528 a year, shown on its pricing page as $44 a month, or $59 billed monthly. It includes unlimited ad accounts, unlimited ad spend and unlimited ad uploads, with a 7-day trial and no card. The Team plan adds central billing and user management; its per-seat price is not on the pricing page.
Kitchn.io's pricing page lists every plan, from €499/month, priced by ad accounts and upload volume, not by ad spend. Launch Team covers 5 ad accounts and 900 Ad Uploads a month; Launch Elite covers 15 ad accounts. Every plan starts with a guided trial.
For one buyer on their own Meta accounts, Ads Uploader costs less. Kitchn.io's price pays for the workflow around the launch: validation, approvals, naming templates, the audit log, and seven more channels.

Connect Meta and any other channel you buy on. Your live ads stay where they are, in Meta.
Take what your Ads Uploader presets carried: campaign structure, placements, creative enhancements. Set it once as Kitchn.io sheet defaults and ad templates. Add the naming template per sheet and platform. New rows inherit the sheet defaults; ad templates are applied in bulk.
Required fields, URL format, platform specs, the enhancements that stay off. Validation runs on every row, and a row that fails lands in error and never launches.
Invite the client, the designer and the team lead; guests review through share links. Decide who sets the approval status. From then on, every change and approval is on the record.
For agencies, yes. Ads Uploader is a bulk upload tool for Meta: folder in, ads out, one flat price. Kitchn.io is the launch workflow around that upload. The Launch Sheet builds the ads, validation checks them, the client reviews them, the audit log records them. On eight channels. If you are one buyer on your own Meta accounts, Ads Uploader is the cheaper fit. If you launch for clients with a sign-off step, a naming standard or more than one channel, Kitchn.io covers the rest of the job.
Three things, as of 2026-08-21. A Duplicator that copies existing Meta ads to new ad sets on the same post ID, so likes and comments carry over. Kitchn.io runs live posts through the Existing Post format, and rule-based duplication is available on request. A CLI and MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor and ChatGPT; Kitchn.io issues API tokens to admin users on every plan. A flat per-user plan with unlimited uploads and ad accounts, at $44 a month on annual billing or $59 monthly.
Ads Uploader launches to Meta (Facebook & Instagram). Kitchn.io launches to Meta, TikTok, Google Ads (Demand Gen), Pinterest and Snapchat, with LinkedIn, Spotify and AppLovin in beta. X (Twitter) connects for reporting; launching there is not available yet. Meta is the most fully featured channel on Kitchn.io; the others cover their core ad-creation flows.
Ads Uploader's preview table shows the campaign, ad set and ad names that will be created, and Test Mode runs the job without publishing. That tells you what will be built. Kitchn validates what is in it: required fields, URL format, platform specs, and the 86 creative enhancements and AI features Kitchn tracks at last count. Those stay off unless you turn them on, one setting per sheet. A row that fails lands in error and never launches, for every buyer on the team.
Kitchn.io's price list is public: from €499/month, priced by ad accounts and upload volume, not by ad spend. Ads Uploader's Solo Unlimited plan is $528 a year ($44 a month on annual billing) or $59 billed monthly. That covers unlimited accounts and uploads for one user. The Team plan's per-seat price is not listed on its pricing page. Checked 2026-08-21.
Partly. Kitchn.io's Existing Post format runs a live post as a new ad from the sheet. That covers Facebook Page posts, Instagram posts, Reels, Stories and partner content. You pick the post in the Post picker, or paste an ad code for partner content. Rule-based ad duplication is available on request. Ads Uploader's Duplicator picks existing ads from a campaign tree. It copies them to an existing or new ad set on the same post ID, in the same ad account.
Your ads live in your Meta ad accounts, so there is nothing to migrate. Connect the accounts, recreate your presets as Kitchn.io sheet defaults and ad templates, set the naming template, invite the people who approve. The presets take longer to recreate than the first launch takes to go out.
